GINA HOLLOWAY MULDER

 

Gina Holloway Mulder (MAP, VMTR, MA) is an internationally trained and registered Voice Movement Therapist and a specialist communication coach with an in-depth understanding of the integration of voice, body and self. She has been facilitating personal and business development through voice and movement work since 1999, incorporating Voice Movement Therapy into her practice since 2007. Gina also holds a masters degree with distinction (University of Pretoria), her research focusing on the development of embodied strategies for performer vocal development drawing from the field of neuroscience. In addition Gina holds a MAP certification from WITS Business School.


Combining her skills and experience Gina has developed a unique approach to facilitating professional and personal development through embodied self-expression. She has, over the past twenty years, passionately shared her skills and knowledge with people in the formats of one-on-one therapy and coaching, teaching, lecturing at universities, and workshop facilitation and has developed and presented training and workshops for professionals, executives, government officials, performers, students and youth from diverse industries and sociocultural backgrounds in South Africa, Australia, Malaysia and China. 

 

Gina is Africa’s leading VMT practitioner and a global pioneer of the modality researching and expanding the body of work. She is an assistant trainer on the international VMT training and has served on the IAVMT board of directors as Vice President (2013/2014) and as President (2014/2015) and currently holds the position of IAVMT Secretary. Gina has edited two issues of the International Journal for VMT, the PVMTJ and is currently writing a book about the modality.
